Getting much needed exposure as a new guitar builder is a hard thing to do. So what better way to do than to combine it with a charitable endeavour?
I loved watching the guitar builds last year and promised myself I was going to give it go in 2021. Well the new year is upon us and registration is open. So I'm signing up and hoping to let people see the kind of guitars I love to build.
So what's the plan?
Well I'm currently in a 'Red' zone in Italy which means I won't be able to go out and source wood to build a neck so I'll be entering the kit build competition. Luckily I have six beautiful roasted maple necks that have been supplied by a luthier friend of mine that I can use. I also have a stock of some beautiful ash to build a body and plenty of hardware already in the workshop, so that's all in need!
