I have uploaded a video on how I get a high gloss guitar finish using Melamine lacquer. I have only recently discovered this finish but I love it already! For those of us without access to a spray booth the options for finishing guitars (particularly in high gloss) can be limited.
Melamine is fast building, quick drying and can be polished to a mirror shine. In this video I share my experience for how I managed to get a result I was happy with.
